How to Set Up & Use the Matterlevel
The MatterLevel is supplied as three components in recyclable boxes to enable safer, less expensive, and more ecologically sound transportation.
Assemble The MatterLevel
For transport, always remove the MatterLevel from the tripod and store it securely.
We recommend using the MatterLevel in combination with the Manfrotto MOVE Quick Release, a Manfrotto 190 Tripod, and a MatterLevel Dolly for optimal performance.

How To Use
Kit Assembly Instructions
Attach the Matterport Camera Mount to the top of the MatterLevel.
Insert the Manfrotto MOVE fitting into the bottom of the MatterLevel.
Fix the base of the Manfrotto MOVE Quick Release securely to the top of the tripod.
We recommend placing a rubber washer between the tripod and the MOVE Quick Release to prevent loosening during use.

How to Use
Set up the tripod with the two rubber-handled legs positioned nearest to you.
Place the MatterLevel on the tripod, ensuring the bubble is closest to you.
Tighten the collar on the Manfrotto MOVE Quick Release to secure it.
Mount the Matterport Pro3 Camera, with the lens facing away from you.
You are now ready to begin capture.

Recommended Tripod Setup
(Using the Manfrotto 190 Tripod)
If not using a dolly: extend the centre column fully.
Bottom leg section: extend fully.
Middle leg section: extend approximately 12 cm.
Top leg section: keep fully retracted.
If using a dolly: raise the centre column by about 12 cm.
Tips for Adjustments
To shorten the tripod on stairs or ramps: adjust the bottom leg section.
To achieve additional height: extend the top leg section.
Avoid altering the middle leg section (set to 12 cm).
This makes it easier to return the tripod quickly to a near-level position.
Using the MatterLevel
Before first use, loosen each adjustment wheel so that it sits roughly halfway between its upper and lower limits.
Ensure the bubble level is positioned at the back of the tripod, between the two legs with rubber grips.
